I talk to myself everyday. While I talk to myself I look at myself in mirror and ask myself how it's going. Normally when people see other people talking to themselves they think they are crazy, or maybe they're angry or annoyed. It's never for a good reason is it? In fact the crazy person is the person that thinks it's crazy to talk to yourself. If you happen to think that then maybe the reason why it feels weird for you is because you don't do it enough? Maybe you should try it more? Talking to yourself is healthy. You can check in (and not on Facebook) to see how it's going. You can ask yourself honest questions and normally get an honest answer. However, there are the times yo think you're being honest with yourself but in fact you are making excuses so while you do this look in the mirror and look right into your eyes. If you happen to look away when you ask yourself a question then you're probably lying. If you happen to keep the stare then you're probably telling the truth. You will know. Be honest with yourself, why not? There's no one around, and you really already know the truth. You will find that your life will start to change. Only good people will surround you. You will feel more empowerment. So give gratitude, to yourself and others. See how things are going. Appreciate more in your life. Talk to yourself about integrity. About what you mean in this life. What are you doing here? Do you have a passion? :)

We can't really go anywhere can we? Unless someone has a spaceship we can all get into and fly away... anyone? Spaceship?? If you do please email back I would like to reserve a spot. I will provide entertainment for the ride. Now all we need is some food.... not that space stuff either. Yuk.

Now that I've got over that I would like to wish ALL of you WONDERFUL people a very Happy New Year!

I hope your year has started out wonderful and you're feeling in the flow of life. Calm. Relaxed. I know I can feel like I'm totally out of the flow sometimes. Well, OK, most of the time. Yes, yes I get that feeling quite a lot. It's one of the reasons why I started writing music in fact. When I feel out of the flow I feel out of life. I've battled with that ever since school. BUT, I can tell you... going AGAINST the flow is also good sometimes. Being in the flow of the world and watching everyone follow each other like worker ants is a very frustrating experience too. Recently, I co-wrote a song called "Drifting Away" with my good friend Belva Haney. That song is about that exact subject; when you're drifting away into no mans land wondering about life, what it all means and whether you're doing the right thing... the chorus is a chorus to the singer/listener, the person going through this period of anxiety or frustration. It recognizes the pain but the melody eases that pain through the music.

Another reason why sometimes I drift away into another world is because of some of the things I went through when I was at school. Bullying. I was bullied at school for almost 4 years, tormented. I kept is so quiet because I was embarrassed at the reaction from friends and family. That I wasn't tough enough, that maybe what they were calling me was true. That I was fat. I was ugly because I looked like I had spade teeth and I was a slow grower. After a number of years walking home from school was so painful for me that I decided to try to end it all. I had no idea what I was doing (luckily) it was more of a shout out for help to everyone, but I kept that to myself too. The second time I tried was too close for me and I scared myself. Something magical happened. I started to write about it.... the rest is history. 2011 LA Music Awards WINNER

I'm very pleased to announce that I am now a 5 time Los Angeles Music Awards winner with the 5th award this year for Best Dance Electronic Artist!! The award is shared with Tmac, my new album producer for "Dawn Of Momentum". I'm honored to receive this award this year and like every other year I've been a recipient. This year was extra special because of the breakaway new sounding album "Dawn of Momentum" which has evolved my Singer/Songwriter/Rock sound into Electro Pop. The independent awards show attracted over 150 media outlets this year including FOX News Channel 11, E News, LA Times, KTLA and many many more. I was fortunate enough to meet one of my producing heroes Keith Olsen and chat with him along with Booboo Stewert from Twilight, Alex Al - bass player to Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Christina Aguilera and more.. it was a very special night.

I walked the Red Carpet with the lovely Mama G of Punked Out Polos. The Emmy Award winning Producer is debuting her new line of t-shirts where Mama G has a very clear creative mission, "If a symbol of smug entitlement, soulless superficiality and unrelenting conformity can be transformed into a raw, honest, authentic object of beauty, then maybe it's true that art can save the world"

I was honored to wear number 9 "Inspirateur" on the red carpet.

Hey from me :)

It's the weekend! It's November and if you're in the UK you're FREEZING right now. I'm off to the UK in just over a month. I haven't seen my Mum for a year!! I can't wait for a proper English cuppa (tea) lol not to mention those roast dinners when it's cold outside and you're all wrapped up warm inside. Oooooh it gives me chills just thinking about it. Lovely.

Firstly, I would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Gemma Belloni and Chloe Needham for winning a limited edition 'The Kube' mp3 Player (with 2 of my songs pre loaded) and Thank you to Ashley Needham for sending a picture of himself wearing it :) I guess Mum was too shy huh?

Love the wallpaper. I also like that the mp3 player is Arsenal colours. I bet you loved that Ashley.

Believing In YOU

Lets face it. What is most important? Your life or your fears. Lets be honest and to the point. Ok so we all know it’s your life. Your fears you have to face and you have to face them because with fears in your life you also have doubts and insecurities, whether it’s about your body, your skills or just about the people you hang around with. You HAVE to face them and you HAVE to let them go. They are fake. If you know you can do something about it then DO IT. Really. What’s stopping you?
This weekend I lost 2 close friends. I loved them with all my heart. I remember talking to them about their deepest feelings and how they feel about certain things in their lives and they had them too. The doubts. The fears. Now look where they are. Now look what their families have to go through… their friends and partners. Turmoil.
A problem shared is a problem halved.. or even taken away.
Trust in your abilities and trust in your friends to tell you the truth. Trust the friends that speak the truth.
I struggled with confidence for years and still now I get anxiety to a point. Especially if I’m not prepared. That’s when it really happens. You HAVE to be prepared (rehearsed) because having doubt about a live performance will always certainly make it go wrong or leave you feeling less confident about your abilities. It’s not worth it.. and you know why?? Because it’s creates fear and the worst type of fear. Fear in yourself. That’s when you start to get bigger problems because you hide them with excuses and your creative flow stops.
Do not compare yourself with others either. IF you compare you also put yourself down because you will believe that people are better than you or they have more talent. It is not true. Your path is always the path you should be on. There will always be other ways that YOU are equally talented and amazing at your chosen art form.
I was bullied for 4 years through school and I managed to keep it quiet for some time but it really got to me. At one point I was thinking very dark and I started to fall into that place where it would have been very difficult to ever get out. If I got out at all.
This weekend I saw how fragile life was again. How sharing your love and trust in friends can help. How BELIEVING IN YOU is important at WHATEVER that may be!!
Maybe you want to make hats.. maybe you want to create a new style of music or piece of art OR run down the road dressed as a monkey screaming “I’m a monkey and I love being a monkey” The point is you are living ALL your possibilities. When you open more possibilities more doors open. Those doors open your mind and your confidence and other possibilities you never even knew existed. SO GO FOR IT!!!
Live your life!! Surround yourself with friends that love you for who you are and ENJOY YOUR GIFT!!
.. and if you want to run down the road dressed as a monkey then oooh ooh aaaah aaaaah to you!

The pursuit of just being happy is a tough road to travel.
To find something that connects with you is extremely hard sometimes. To find that flow. Your inner voice.
There are times in life where you feel you could lose everything or gain everything. Like now, I find I've bigger fish to fry.. the pond just became bigger.
The movements I choose to be authentic are the very movements that make things seem harder.
I love you, love, but please can you get out of the way for one moment?
It's too much.
Let me go in this situation.
Let you go.
You deserve more that what I can give you.
Life is too precious to worry about it and get wrapped up in someone else's shit.
Move on and move forward.

Jumping July NEWSLETTER

I have a funny story about inflatables... well, I guess it's not that funny but it's a story, and I know you like stories.

So when I was 12 I went to Tenerife with my family and everyday day we would hang out by the pool which was a few feet from our apartment. I couldn't wait to press play on my Walkman, yes I said Walkman... a Cassette Walkman.. one of these: http://bit.ly/d3HYet and lay out on the Lilo (we call inflatable pool beds, Lilos) and chill out.

Then...
I fell asleep.
It was midday.
For 2 hours.

I woke up to Dad jumping in the pool and pulling me out. I didn't realize but my shoulders literally turned dark red, almost purple where they had burnt so badly. When Mum put me in the shower to cool me down they were pretty bloody. SO now I have freckly shoulders and a very strong memory. I was tired but I remember thinking to myself, "I'm losing myself in the music and I can't even get out, no matter what" I was under a deep spell of Richard Marx. I guess he is to blame for my burnt shoulders then (?) LOL

Musicians ALWAYS need a little help and support from their friends and fans. It can be difficult to ask a lot of the time because as a musician it's needed often but sometimes we just need to say, "Hey. I need some help" I know that I'm not on my own in that one. After this album is done I am embarking on a national tour with my producer and friend TMAC (not to mention the mastering of the album, the marketing and the music videos) and we've been looking for another way to help fund this project but wanted something a little more interactive, and we came to the conclusion that, no matter what, the fans and supporters HAVE to be involved.

So, we found Sella Band - an awesome site where the public (You) BUY into the music/artist (Me) and then become 'believers' and share in a return on their investment via a percentage of subsequent sales once the Sellaband project comes to fruition... and I'm offering 30%!! YES that's right 30% revenue back to you guys!! OK so, 30% of the sales of the album, up to five years from its release date, will be put aside to be shared out to my believers, YOU, based on the number of parts you have invested. So, if you have invested €10 Euros, you will get 1 part of the 30% share. If you have invested €250 Euros, you will get 25 parts of the 30% share and so on. SO... if I sell 10,000 copies of my album (from the funds invested in me on Sellaband) at €10 Euros per CD/download it will come to €100,000 so 30% of this (the return on investment that I have promised YOU, my believers) would be €30,000.

My Sellaband target is €25,000 divide that into 2,500 parts valued at €10 Euros each.

So, if you have invested €250 Euros (25 parts) this will be your return - 25 parts / 2500 parts multiplied by €30,000 = €750 Euros.

In the last 24 hours I have experienced another form of love. I couldn't believe that I hadn't known this prior to the other experiences I had when love entered my life.
This was more than unconditional I think. Well, unconditional explains it well but it was that. Except with a different knowledge. Life. The more I grow and the more I age I learn things I never had known before but it's not often it feels like a smack in the face.
It hit me so hard this time.
Love for another Human Being. Not IN Love. Love. Watching them experience something and loving them for being strong. Loving them because you see them walking through life with the difficulty it's dealt them.

I think I love too much sometimes. It hurts to love that much.
Erm, wait.. not love too much. I don't think you could ever love TOO much. I mean it from the point of view where certain people in my life have affected me so much that it would be impossible to ever stop loving them... and in some cases it gets in the way because that love can confuse your emotions.
Does that make sense?

Maybe it's late. Maybe I'm tired but that's what I experienced yesterday.

Hey Hey Beautiful People!

How are you?

It's been a while since I've sent out a newsletter. I've been really busy in the studio and I didn't want to send anything out until I could show you all what I've been working on with producer TMAC, who was in the team responsible for my single "Warning Signs" getting a Grammy consideration in 2011. I've always been very proud of my music and proud of how they've turned out in the studio but I must say, in all the years I've been making music I've had one style on my mind, and that is Electro/Dance. I grew up listening to mostly dance when I used to go out clubbing with my friends to Gate Crasher, Ministry Of Sound, Bagley's and The Cross (in London) it was a very inspirational time of my life. I learned so much from dance/pop music in Electro house. My songwriting became punchier and more catchy but I didn't show this because at the time the performance I was into was the singer/songwriter style and I didn't have enough confidence to change at the time. Well, the change has happened and it's here.

I've crafted this new sound with TMAC http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tmac-the-artistproducer/99817303855 he is a genius at creating the new sound of today. TMAC (Troy Macfarland) opened a concert for Flo’rida (Number One Pop/Rap Artist) at the Indigo 02 Arena in London, the biggest arena in London. He has also competed in the number one producer showcase in America called iStandard producer showcase.

His R&B, Rap, Dance and Hip Hop background has really gelled well with my singer/songwriter style. I've not sung better than this and I was so inspired by this music I really can say it's the best I've ever delivered/performed any song. We've created an awesome pop/dance sound that I haven't heard yet. The title track "Momentum" is a big dance number which I think you will all be surprised at!!

Album progress is going very well, we've now almost cleared 4/5 tracks and the planned time line finishes around end of May/beginning June.

January 2011 - A GOOD start!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR and a big smile to everyone reading this.

How is everyone?

I visited home this Christmas and stayed in Kent with my family over the New Year which I haven't done for a number of years since Dad passed away. I guess I was running away from some things I didn't want to deal with at home, but this year things were different. It was the first year that I didn't see any tears. I didn't feel pain, I just felt a new glow in my heart and I actually smiled more. New Years Eve with my family was my best yet. A real connection with my siblings and some very authentic moments with my Mum.

The good start to this year has inspired me to write more. In fact I had an incredible realization about writing. It's purely writing I love first. Music just feels like it's the icing on the cake. The writing is my outlet. The music finishes the emotion. It's the cap on the bottle before I throw it out to the world. It's everything to me.

I asked a number of people through my FB Fan page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kris-Searle/6568317757 what they thought of my new song called "LA My Lady" because the new album "The Dawn of Momentum" is a concept album about the universe and everything inspired by that word; planets, love, stars, death, life...

but then I wanted to write something about the place that has inspired me so much and has really been my saviour and made some of my dreams come true. L.A.

A New Man a New Year

I felt something really different last night. Something I haven't felt for such a long time. A feeling of belonging.
I've been pushing it away for so long because of certain events I've been through, personally and socially.
Last night I really talked to my family. I really listened to my older sister's stories of growing up and the time she was scared for her life. I listened to my younger sister about her relationships and what she really went through. I spoke with my Mum about Dad and their past. What it was like when I was born. What she felt when she first talked to me after she gave birth. I really spoke to them. I listened so hard and for the first time I was excited about hearing EVERYTHING. It was easier to listen to them because it wasn't so hard being home anymore. I didn't feel bad for being here because Dad wasn't. I didn't feel awkward around Mum's boyfriend.
I finally felt a feeling of unity with my closest family. My blood.
I bonded with my Brother many times and I loved the moments where I felt so close to him. I was in awe and wonder of my Mum's strength and power to pick herself back up and brush off all of life's hardships and still have laughter as such a powerful gift in her life. It's truly wonderful to hear.

I realize that I have been pushing off really feeling like I can let go when I come home because I closed it off when I was growing up due to bullying and the feeling of 'being different' than everyone else.

I've missed out on the growing up in my home town. I'm not saying I miss that and I do not regret moving away when I was 20. At all. But, I do think a lot about the difference between my siblings and I.

When I see them converse with others in the bars and talking to their peers whilst out I watch closely and see that they do it all with so much more conviction. That's all they've really known. Their home town.

I remember a moment at the bar last night watching my family. Watching them talk with others and watching them react. It was fascinating. Really incredibly educational. I marveled at their honesty and their caring about one another.
Yes, they may gossip and yes they may be, some what, intrusive sometimes, but they only do it because they have more of a family orientated life. A real sense of what is important.

I'm not saying it's the best way to life. I believe there are many ways. I believe I've had just as much of a powerful, positive and educational life but I did feel something I've not felt for a long time. The felling of love, without condition. I'm talking about the real family bond.

However, there are people in the town that look at me like I'm from another planet (haha) but they are just reacting from their past, their issues and their fears. I get that. I actually don't care. Not anymore.

Still, deep down. Real deep down inside they are all really great people. Really caring. When you get past their insecurities (like everyone elses) you find people that really do know you. The people that can tell you stories from when you were 5 years old. The memories that really matter. That make a person.

Last night I became so much more closer to my Mum and I feel so much more stronger in the family. Acknowledged. I'm not saying I wasn't before because I know that the only restrictions I had on myself were from me. From my insecurities. But, last night I really found what was important and what will give me fuel for the rest of my life. Everyday. That's My family. The love I hope everyone feels in their life and everyone in the universe should know.

I also found something else.

When your Mum offers you a Jager Bomb.... after the 3rd one. Say NO.
Jagermeister is made by the devil, but even with a headache I can still smile.

I will arrive back to California a new man.

December News - Unblocking your block and NEW TRACK!

How are you all feeling?

Since last month I've overcome some obstacles that I'm proud of and I've moved forward on some issues that were holding me back but that most important thing that has happened to me is that I've come to terms with a block. Meaning I've unblocked myself. I was self sabotaging something that was very important to me. Part of this process of thought was the pressure of releasing my new album "The Dawn of Momentum" http://bit.ly/aP5Oya It's been a crazy ride. The music industry is in a really awkward place right now. Independent artists are trying to figure out this new direction as computer technology changes and record companies fold. Something is surfacing and I think it's the power of the independent and the social networking and the worldwide distribution and free music/video uploads available all over the world at one touch of a button. It's great and it's also very tough. We're all in a state of change. The economy isn't what it was and we're all trying to get by comfortably so favors are less and people's time is extremely valuable. A lot of musicians count on this and work on speculative deals. Don't give up. Stay strong and remember it's all about the music.

When "Warning Signs" was released I promised a FREE Mp3 player (see http://www.krissearle.com/) to someone that bought the track 3 months later when the figures were in I pulled a name out of a "hat" (in fact it was a fluffy green box haha) and the name was Jonathan Andersen! Are you all ready for Christmas? I've got my little white Christmas Tree up with some odd decorations found around the home. The best part about Christmas is making home made things from memories around the home or from the family. My Mum still hangs a stone necklace I made her when I was 4. Sometimes you've just got to throw your hands up in the air.
Sometimes you just have to give in to the blockage and be authentic with what you're really feeling.
For years I've been attracted to the lights, cameras and sound of performing and don't get me wrong I still am. But, there comes a time where you feel stagnant and you deny what's really going on because you don't want to let go. In fact, when that happens the emotion starts to appear. You know when you cry easily in a conversation? It means you struck a chord (pardon the pun!) with yourself.

This morning was one of those mornings.

A very good friend of mine. A friend that only has the best interests for me talked with me over breakfast and he talked with me very frankly about what he sees when I talk about music. Every fiber of my being was fighting against the conversation then, for once I let go. I felt my heart burning and my eyes well up but I stopped myself because I wanted to be present in the situation.

My friend said, (and I'm paraphrasing) "When I see you talking about writing your eyes light up and you get excited about the way a song has come to you or how you found an awesome chord or melody". Well, that instant I realized that I was writing the songs for the wrong reason. I was writing them for me. Solely. The pressure I was creating was that they were mine and that I have to honor them by making them the best I can and not letting go of them. Keeping them to myself. I always wrote or collaborated on different songs for other people but I wasn't present with them because they weren't really for me.
These songs, I believe, are from somewhere so incredible and so spiritual that I am only a vestibule. So who am I to say where these songs are placed and who they are for.

My songwriting has been getting better and better and I believe these new songs for my second album "The Dawn of Momentum" http://bit.ly/aP5Oya are the best I've ever written. I was holding onto them because they are my babies. My creation, I'm extremely proud of them and when it comes down to it they are my bread and butter. They are my future.

The only problem with that is I'm not living into the possibility of how I am trying to live. The fact that music is a community. I think of music truly as a chorus of one. Really meaning as one. A composition of more than me. The songs are more than me.
My thoughts and the offer of my music has changed infinitely now.

I was creating songs that were only for one purpose, for me. My block was that I was being selfish with my creation.

I have always felt that way truly in my head but my heart was blocking it because I was reacting from the past. I was being defensive with my music.
When I walked out of the cafe and crossed the road to my car I had an incredible sense of well being and that now I unblocked that blockage things were going to be okay.

My songs are for everyone. I write because I want to help others by creating the possibility to help them relate and not feel like they are alone in the world. We are all going through the pressure cooker of life and music can uplift us through it. It's an ancient vibration that opens the heart. It's one of the few things that truly connect us all as one.

I'm writing songs now with a different intention. For me, for someone else... to stay on my computer and never get heard or to be sold to another artist. I truly want that. The freedom to breathe and the freedom of giving myself a break if it doesn't get heard. I'm not going to be putting limits on my music anymore. I will always have a true calling for songs that I hold dear to my heart and if it means I'm not singing them then so be it. They just need to be heard. That's my purpose. That's my goal. The ultimate outcome. The selfless reason and the true meaning behind my mission. Deliver the creation and share it with the world. With no blocks.

The Dawn of Momentum is exactly that for me. It’s the beginning of a new era of my life and the point in my life where I have gained enough experience and inspiration to create the music I have truly wanted to create.

For the first time in my career the music has been the number one focus. The creative process. The self expression. Connecting with the audience on a more sincere level where it’s completely obvious that I’ve experienced what I’m singing about. That is very important to me.

The genre is Electro/Pop/Rock which is perfect for the way the music industry sound is evolving. In the past I wanted to fight against the musical flow as part of my rebellion with the industry but now I accept and I see the possibilities are now endless.

This music needs to be heard. It’s written with SOUL and HEART and it's touching people deeply… something I believe this world needs to hear right now.

The competitive advantage is obvious in the sound and it’s European/American blend which is so popular in today’s market.

The other advantage of this music is the faith in it’s ability to change the world. To really believe that. To really know that what is being created here will make a difference, and wanting to make a difference.

♫MY STORY♫

I have been learning a lot through my music and my connections with the people I meet in my life. I'm enjoying honoring the moments I share with them and constantly trying to become a better person by sharing those moments through my music. That's why I've decided to write the second album now and call it "The Dawn Of Momentum", partly because I promised Mum that her name would be in the title (Ha) but mostly because this really is the Dawn Of Momentum for me. It's a concept album, the concept is The Universe, life, stars, Heaven, Death, Fate etc...

I've gained so much awareness of my own self-expression over the past year and at points it's been a very bumpy ride, ever since Dad passed away. A short time ago I had some incredibly heart opening experiences that helped me drop my low self confidence and assisted the opening of my heart, in turn, delivering these amazing new songs which I now need to share with you.

I feel that the best way of doing that is by honoring the people that have supported my music career over the years. My fans, my family, friends and supporters... I really would like you all to be a major part of this new album.

We've just started the creative process for branding, the new sound (Electro/Acoustic) and new image to show the self-expression I have gained in my travels and life experiences since my award winning debut release "Slowly Diabolical" in 2008.

This year, "Warning Signs" my collaborative single, written with Darnell Swallow (UK) has obtained me the nomination for Best Dance Artist at this years Los Angeles Music Awards. The sound of the new album isn't going to be this dance heavy but it's a good introduction. It's going to be somewhere in the middle of my normal style of indie rock/pop fused with Electro. So exciting!

My team and I have set the wheels in motion but we would love you, the supporters, fans, friends and family to be THE integral part of the making of this new album a concept album.

My debut album which was nominated 3 times in 2008 at the LAMA's won twice that year! The album cost me and my small indie label partners over $60,000 including marketing and mastering costs. It's very important to me because the repercussions of the loss I have experienced with the effort of building up my life again in a different country was very hard for me, but the one thing that got me through it all was the love of the people around me. 2010 Nomination!!

I was informed last week from the Los Angeles Music Awards that I had been nominated again this year after "Warning Signs" was released in July. This year it is for Best Dance/Electro Artist which is a nice compliment to my move into the new electro/acoustic sound that I am creating for my new album "The Dawn of Momentum". I believe this album is going to be my best album yet.. I've done so much growing since I released my award winning album out here in 2008 and I've been on the search for a songwriter(s)/collaborator(s). Well, I found them. I will announce them to you when all is settled and we're in full flow. I also found my new management team. All their contact information is HERE. I'm very excited about the move to electro/acoustic as I've always wanted to infuse those sounds because electro/dance is such a huge influence on my life, and has been for years.

2010 comes with another wonderful honor - my 6th L.A Music Award nomination... if we win this one it will be my 4th award.

The nomination is Best Electronica/Dance Artist and it's a fantastic surprise because the song that achieved us this nomination is my new collaborative dance track "Warning Signs" written with Darnell Swallow of Big Brother UK fame.

Project Gulf Impact SONG COMPETITION

Ah my lovely inspired creative Rep Monstars!! (See what I did there?)
So I wasn't award that some of the radio feed didn't air when we had the lovely boys from Project Gulf Impact on the show on Friday. SO.. some of you aren't aware that we have a little competition on our hands :-)
This one is for you especially!! Yeh YOU!!

A lot of you are aware of the tradegy in the Gulf with the oil spill and the devastating effect on the wildlife and the horrible social impact on the lives of the people living there.

Part of this project that is really helping and raising awareness for this cause is following the Twitter feed. They are posting articles, announcements, things they are learning whilst shooting the documentary.

This summer my collaboration with Darnell Swallow is released worldwide
with a focus on the UK for radio play and featured spots at the date of the
launch then we're bringing it over to the US!

I've been so blessed with working with an incredibly talented team so thank
you to everyone involved... the crew were awesome. Rik Argent (Director) is
such a creative genius, it was a pleasure working with him. Thank you to
Darnell, Dannybeats, Lauren Carter, Yinka, Rich Williams, Katie Searle,
Paul Tracy and his awesome dancers, you guys rock!! I'm so excited to see

was a lot of fun, it's always so great to see people come down and meet my
friends and fans. Really guys you are all so fantastic, if it wasn't for

Inspire U Records is now officially partnered with Reputation Label

NEW ALBUM

My new album is planned to be out this year, it's called "The Dawn Of

I'm teaming up with Jamie Donovan as a co-writer. I met him a few months

Hello :-)

So I'm here in Tower Bridge in the "Think" apartments waiting for the Director to send me the call sheet for the weekend shoot.

I'm so excited. We now have all the actors and locations settled which is a weight off my mind :-) Ah no weight.

I'm meeting with my best mate tonight for a drink or two and trying not to get carry away with excitement so I down a few more beers than what I should. That wouldn't be very professional of me now would it? Hehe.
I'm starving.
I'm going to pop to the shops and get some food then head into the town centre.. FINALLY with no suitcase and extra bags!!

I've been given my own night in North Hollywood for my new venture CLUB INSPIRE U.
I wanted to create somewhere that nurtures talent and inspires people to be themselves and to take a shot at what they think they would be good at... by creating an environment where you can see that has taken place with others.

I am here for a reason... I remembered that.

I am here for a reason and I believe it.

Sometimes, like today I find it hard to believe. Well, I find it hard to focus on the fact that I know I am really important in the grand scheme of things. I know I am and, Hey, if it turns out that isn't true I am glad I believe in what I stand for and in something that made me feel I had faith and something that made me believe in the true meaning of love.

Sometimes I just want to say NO to everything.

Sometimes I just want to shout back, "Get out of my face!"

Sometimes I just want to get out of my car and scream in the middle of the road at everyone to try to find others that are having a bad day too!

Sometimes I want to be horrible.

Sometimes I just want to get all of my dreams and put them away for a while so it would be easier for me to breathe... to not feel so overwhelmed.

On days like this I want to curl up and pretend it's not there. On days like this I really would like to be able to come out of my scrunched up little ball of a body and find that all those things I was trying to hide from disappeared.

Today I really wanted to run into the ocean and shout at the sky and ask a thousand questions in the hope that the waves would answer me back.

Today I really wanted to fake my way through and erase those messages that I didn't want to deal with.

Today I really wanted you back.

I still can't believe that once again I find that you're not here when I need you so bad.

But, today I found something else.

I found me.

Wihtout you here.

The sun warmed my face and I heard my Dad's voice. He said, "Remember the people around you that support you and remember the things you say to the people you inspire. Remember and take action in your mind and turn that bad thought into a positive one".

I do miss the fact that I can't listen to him on the phone anymore. The fact that I don't hear it at all anymore.

So I remembered what he said and I started to smile. My day changed. I remembered we're all in it together and I remembered I was in the true flow of my destiny. Something I love to give to the world. To show and to share.

I am here for a reason and that ONE fact is all I need. I remembered that.

So now I'm smiling when I go to bed.

Ok, so WELCOME WELCOME to my January Newsletter and WELCOME to your New Year 2010! This is going to be a very special year and the biggest year for independent musicians everywhere. I want to congratulate everyone striving to support themselves doing something they LOVE and something they believe in that will inspire, effect and give hope and faith to people. To be who you are and to not be ashamed of that. Shine bright my friends!

Inspiring Trip
I had an incredible trip home to the UK for Christmas and New Year. It was so good to see my family and spend real time with them (mostly indoors snowed in, which was fun!) I'm so proud of my family for coming out strong after what they have endured over the last couple of years. I'm currently writing a song called "Eternal Spring" Which I am dedicating to them. I decided to sing a little snippet of my track "I Would Give You It All" in my garden when it started to snow the first day. Cable TV!
This week Leslie Stoddard, Stuart Guest and I went to the Time Warner Cable Studios in Costa Mesa to record an interview and live performance with Eye On Entertainment TV

The interview went really well so thank you to Dawna Lee Heising for spearheading the show and thank you to every at EOE TV and the director John Alsedek (looking forward to The Darkness Falls) the show will be available on cable regional channels on prime time so I will send the details out very soon. Now THAT is worth the fight!

I’m very impressed with airports. They really inspire me… unlike gyms. It’s not because I am lazy and in fact it’s not from a “physical” inspiring point of view. Well, kind of. The energy at an airport is extremely palpable. I can feel hope here. I can feel emotions, happiness of course, also excitement, nervousness, sadness, fear and even remorse.

Two weeks ago at Heathrow I saw a couple sitting and talking. The female had a ticket in her hand and the male was almost trying to grab the ticket with his right hand while he was speaking to her. I don’t even think he knew he was doing it but I could see he wanted to rip that ticket up, and in a perfect world I would see her drop that ticket and embrace him but in fact she was holding onto the ticket very tightly. She wanted to leave. I felt sad for that man.

It actually made me write this blog entry.

It’s funny how 2 people can experience a totally different world isn’t it?

Even though they are sharing the same space and they think they share the same thoughts but most of the time they just don’t match up. No matter how much you try to get inside their head. No matter how in love with them you are, sometimes you just cannot force them to love you. It will tear you apart and knock you down but you will not make them feel what you feel. You have to move on. I’ve felt that. It’s at the top of the list with “but you said you loved me too” in fact I think that is number one on my list.

You think they are the same right? I don’t think it’s true.

When you start a relationship each person has a totally different experience. Even IF they are both totally in love, both in bliss. One person is experiencing a different emotion, a different love. It might not be that different, but it is different. Then, after a short time, things will come to the surface and where one person may be able to cope with certain things the other does, the opposite person may not. Then things will start to crack open. You have to come from a place of love and remember why you found them attractive in the first place. Don’t ever forget that. If you can survive that and feel it’s worth the fight then you will have a very healthy relationship. One thing though… It has to be right to begin with. If it isn’t then it won’t work anyway. Remember that. Don’t fight a fight not worth fighting. If it doesn’t work it doesn’t work. If it’s not meant to be it’s not meant to be. Don’t torture yourself by thinking it was something you did because it’s not (unless you did something very dishonest of course) it’s just the chemistry didn’t work. The energy wasn’t right. The universe said NO. They aren’t the one. Someone else is out there for you, someone that will fit you better. Someone you will feel more relaxed with, someone that will make you feel like you fit in this world, like you have a reason; hold out for that, don’t settle for second best. Now THAT is worth the fight. So, FIGHT for that. Make sure you’re on the right side when you do.

A little mastery of life...

Arriving in Beijing was a strange yet familiar feeling. It seriously felt like I’d been there before. I get that with a lot of places I travel to, but this time was very different. There wasn’t any fear. No worrying, and at no point did I think someone was going to be rude to me or harm me. You can get that in some places around the world let me tell you.

I’d been in Beijing airport for over 3 hours and I felt totally relaxed. It’s very clean and the people are so helpful. For the first half hour a young man in Starbucks had been helping me find the code you need to log on to the Internet. He was been talking to me about his dream to be a football star and that AC Milan is his favourite team. I told him my little brother was a football player and had soccer trials for the L.A Galaxy. He went crazy. It was nice to see someone’s eyes light up when they were talking about something.

I had a great experience on the plane. I was really cold about 2 hours before the flight landed and I had got up to go to the restroom and when I got back I went to pull my blanket over me and the elderly Chinese man turned to me and gestured that he would put the blanket on for me; with a fantastic smile, and so wise. I was a little shocked at first but when I saw the look in his eyes I just relaxed. He really wanted to do that for me. It was a really incredible experience.

My social life experience is so far removed from that behaviour but something interesting sparked in me. He did exactly what I think about doing for others. If I see someone having difficulty with something I want to help. If someone can’t figure something out I want to help him or her find the best way to do it. I really get something out of that and it really saddens me that people don’t really do that for each other anymore or find that they have the bravery to do it, me included.

The art of human conditioning is a very powerful thing. We’ve all learnt to be fearful of each other. To protect and guard what is ours. We all want to love but we have all experienced life too and life has taught us to be fearful. Schools and other educational places have taught us that too… even our own parents and friends. When we were young we had many experiences where our hearts were open to our parents, teachers and friends but at some point we all got scolded and we all believed we did nothing wrong… and we didn’t. They were only protecting us but we came from a place in our heart that was innocent and we felt like they betrayed us. Over the years we built a defensive behaviour to cope and went to the inner recesses of our emotional body to find strength. Then we built stories that were not truly “us”. We had to live up to something to fit in and now we aren’t honest with ourselves and it’s tough living a lie… isn’t it?

I can feel a little anger inside me about all of this but I know that is frustration and resentment at the throws of life and being bought up in the society I was and with the lessons I was taught. Well, I guess it’s been there for as long as anyone can remember. It’s just a shame. It’s such a loss to humanity that people feel they have to act like this and that they lost the innocence of childhood. The love they hold for strangers and people they meet. Remember the only reason you that you feel fear when I mention “strangers” is because that is what you’ve been taught and the only reason they can do harm to you is because the same lessons they learned were from damaged humans that they had as parents/teachers.

From what I saw out there in Beijing airport and with the people that I met in my hours of roaming before my flight, is that the a lot of the Chinese people met still had that innocent spark in their eye. A little hope for others and an attitude of service and thankfulness, compared to an attitude where they would step on each other to get where they wanted. Like the expression, “I wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire” Yeah, I get that. Totally.

I was so excited to get out of the airport and land in Singapore to find out what the people were like outside the confines of space and security; the in-between place they call an “airport”. Maybe they were different? Maybe they were even more hospitable?

It was 9.55 am, only 3 hours and 25 minutes left to my flight to Singapore so I drank my weight in coffee at the Starbucks and I felt like I was back home down the street from where I lived. It’s crazy, I was thousands of miles away but Starbucks made me feel at home. Thank God I don’t feel the same way about McDonalds. I’d be the size of a house.

Oh the places I would go to see you.
I would travel to the ends of the earth to hear your voice in person; to feel your touch all over my skin. If I could, I would give you everything in me to keep you alive if your heart wasn’t strong enough to keep your body breathing.
I would be that strength. I would be the portal for you to carry on the life you own on this earth that I admire so much. I would fill you with unconditional energy and love from the deepest places of my heart and transfer what I had, everything in me, to you. The highest gift you could ever give anyone, the gift of integrity and an honour not many people bestow on someone. Being in love with you is like being in love with a twin soul of my own. I love it through all the troubles and through all the times when I question life, question faith and my ability to carry on or carry myself through this sometimes harsh existence, and no matter what your outer body does to it or me I know that the inner soul of you is always communicating with me through love. The rest of your emotional body is all there because of the lessons you’ve learnt here on earth that sometimes have scarred you. Well, I’m here to help heal those scars and patch them up to the best of my ability. Now my responsibility is to make you new memories in your life that cradle your thoughts and actions with the smiles of a thousand deep hearted kisses.
I hope and pray everyday that you are safe and that you choose the right path. I hope you choose the path to be by my side, to warm my skin and keep my character sane. A light in the dark and a hope I can’t see existing when I am on my own. Through my belief and through my faith I have come to see that being by ones self is a beautiful lesson and an honour to have but being a part of someone else is an element that I cannot live without. The person I have chosen to be with is you and I sometimes get frustrated with the words that have become the language in this world because I feel like there aren’t any to sufficiently describe what you mean to my heart and soul.
Shakespeare did a good job of it and I guess in a way there is a part of him in all of us. He taught us to come from divine love. An innocent place that now some people cringe at when they read his work. They cringe because they don’t understand, because they live in a world of fear and a world where they were taught that to love is to be weak; living in a world ruled by money and false hope with promises that are never honoured and integrity that disappears with nothing but a whisper.
I know which path I choose and the path I choose is to love. I choose to live everything from love. To start with love and end in love. I don’t care how I am perceived and I don’t really mind how I get treated anymore. I’m not going to bow to others that make me feel inferior for being “unrealistic” or “in a dream world”. I miss being me and I’ve gotten side tracked. I’ve lived for others but I’m not doing that anymore. I am me and I love me and you love me because I am me. That makes me feel more me than I’ve ever felt.

On Monday night I performed at RAGE in West Hollywood for the Hand In Hand Benefit Concert for the Philippine's Aid Society. It was a really great night with wonderful supporters and a lot of love.

The event was SO inspiring and I THANK Arnold G for organizing and that's to all the other event organizers involved too.

My solo performance was very intense. I must say I felt extremely connected to the audience and when I was up there playing on stage knowing that I was making a difference it really did remind me how blessed I am and how incredibly important it is for people to do something that makes their heart burn.

I had fun meeting Diversity news, MySpace and all the other press that turned out. I think we got some great pictures!

I had an overwhelming response when I came off stage and normally people don't say much because (1) it's too busy or (2) it's just difficult to grab the artist you just saw up on stage..

HOWEVER, a lot of people managed to get up to the green room and thank us, talk about the performance and get information on buying the tracks they heard.

A very brave man came up to me and complimented me on my performance and asked if I could give him my email and where he could buy my songs, so I did then he took my hand and told me he was a 30 year HIV patient, it really moved me.. he said, "I've never connected with any music like I connected with your set tonight. You've inspired me to carry on and I see the light and the dark in your lyrics and I feel like someone understands me, it gives me hope" I almost cried my eyes out on the spot.

This is EXAACTLY why I write music!!!

I can't remember your name and I can't think of how to thank you in person but I hope you read this. THANK YOU. I am totally honoured. You gave me more than you know and I'm humbled that you came up to me and shared your story with me.

Totally amazing.

September 26, the Manila metro area was pummeled by typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy) which resulted in the worst flooding the Philippines has seen in over 40 years. Some are calling the storm the “Katrina of the Philippines.” Nearly 699 people have lost their lives and countless thousands have lost everything they own. To be sure, millions of Filipinos, living in one of the poorest countries in the world, were deeply affected by this tragedy. A montage video by Brian LeBow shows images on the devastating floods. They need basic items like food, medications, clothing, and clean drinking water. Philippine Aid Society is providing those things.

National recording artist, Arnold G, has agreed to endorse and help organize a benefit concert for the victims of the flood and proceeds will go to the Philippine Aid Society. He formed eight multi-talented recording artists in Los Angeles like Lotonius Earl, Jezda, Kris Searle, Jael Gadsden, DeLon, Fawn, Asha Puthli, Stuart Guest, Rob C and Arnold G to perform in West Hollywood, October 19th, 2009 to help raise as much needed funds for the victims of the devastating floods occurred last month. In association with “Philippine Aid Society” a 501c3 non-profit, the artists will gather at Rage on Santa Monica Boulevard (West Hollywood) Monday evening for a fundraiser event organized by Arnold G (of A&G Records).

Donations of clothing and food will be accepted on location, while cash donations are being encouraged and managed directly Tim Troutman, Executive Director of the Philippine Aid Society, a 501 (c)(3) with offices in the United States (North Carolina) and also in the Philippines, in Kamuning, Quezon City. The goal is to raise $100,000. That will go a long way to restoring family housing, getting medicine, food and clothing to those in dire need in the Philippines.

Do we ever really know what the deal is?
I mean the deal of this. Our life. Our reason.
We have turned our integrity into some kind of self respect that answers to someone else.
I say WE because it's exactly that.
We did this to ourselves.

There are certain people in this life that inspire us and lead us. People that we LOVE to see lead. People that challenge our thought process, confirm our beliefs, agree with our opinion on human existence. The way we should live. People that make your heart feel like it's on fire.

I met an incredible person a couple of days ago who grew up in a very harsh environment and challenged himself to get out. Move away from the haters and escape the brain washed. The people that embrace the fear and love the hate because they don't want to be alone so they join everyone else, although petrified themselves.

So what happens? Well the people that have faith in THEMSELVES appear. Through the muck and through their own experiences, whether good or bad. One difference. Their faith in themselves. Inner LOVE. Absolute strength in what they believe.

Some others come and try to kill them off. Some want to silence them and others incarcerate them because they intimidate them and scare them. They don't understand because they've been brainwashed by the very people that brought them up. Their whole belief system comes crashing around them and they protect it.

I'm not afraid to say I challenge it and I'm not afraid to say I feel uncomfortable in the world a lot of the time because it's very existence is in the balance and we're all pretending that it's completely fine. I'm also anxious about the rules and the laws that we're marking each other with. Seriously gross laws that keep people down, under the thumb of the man. IT angers me and I want to fight it BUT the reason I feel uncomfortable is that I've let myself feel that way and I've been a part of this existence. I've let the rest of society and the people that follow, abide and believe in the system rule me. It's OK and perfectly acceptable to believe in what you believe in but don't you ever think that it's a tragedy that people don't even challenge it? I mean REALLY challenge it.

Larry Flynt is a good example. He would say he won. Well I guess he did, he took his case to the Supreme Court and respected the law (for once, instead of wearing "FUCK THIS COURT" on his tee shirt.. and many other times like that) He believed everything he said and he fought for the freedom of his rights and everyone else in the country. He suffered, but he got his point over and won.

I feel a change in this world right now and I really like it. Ever since the economy changed. People realized that their ever important job wasn't that safe anymore. They found out that when that is taken away they didn't really have much to fall back on. That their job became the most important thing to them in their lives then it went away... with the economy. Then the power they thought they had. Well, newsflash. Wrong power. The economy fails. Who suffers? We do. It's our own fault right? Or did we put the power into someone else's hands? How did we get like this?

One thing I believe is that everything happens for a reason. Have you felt like something is changing? With friends? With the rest of the world? Under the surface. We've come to know that we can't depend on anything but ourselves. That when the chips fall who can we rely on? Ourselves. The inner power. The BELIEF we all forgot about. Our integrity and our love for each other. Our connection. Treat each other the way we want to be treated. Equality. Support. No hate. No sexual discrimination. No one more powerful than you, no one that can judge whether your thoughts are wrong or right, to let you stand for what you stand in. This is our universe. A chorus of one. Not separated individuals who hate and kill.

I know this might start to sound cheesy but I don't give a shit what other people think and I don't care if it sounds strange to you. You know why I say that? Because I used to read things like this and I used to laugh nervously or think it was silly because I didn't know what I knew now and I was also scared. I never used to read things like this. About Freedom, Integrity, Belief in ones power, Love. Well, love yes, from my parents. I wasn't taught the rest in school. They are part of the system that keeps you in that place. The control. Telling you what to think and how to act as a "decent and law abiding" human being. What to read, how to dress, what to say and how to say it.

Light My Fire Jim Morrison

Just watched THE DOORS movie. It’s the only thing that stopped me from thinking about the pain I am in right now. I’ve really injured my back. It’s funny I have just started a cover of LIGHT MY FIRE and I was supposed to be at a music event in Hollywood tonight but I’m here in bed with a bad back and I saw the movie. Well, boy am I glad my back went bad.
That movie is incredible. When you really listen to the words of the film and what comes out of Jim Morrison’s mouth it’s hard to fit back into the “real world” when the film is over. Really hard. I mean, holy shit, did he really do all that? Did people really block him and did the world really not see what was in front of them and how it all could have changed. This was all from one man? Yes. One man.
You can see his desperation, his yearning for a new world, new people. Yes he played along but he was also in so much pain. So much turmoil. Yes he chose that but he wasn’t scared to say, “fuck you” to ordered society or “suck my cock” to the police. He knew it wasn’t real.
I salute you Jim Morrison and I wish it were easier for more of us to be like you these days. It’s so tough to air your views, to be brave, to live in the now. There is no “now” these days. Someone got hold of it and locked in a very tidy, hypo-allergic, non-gluten, no dairy, zero sugar, artificial, free of all flavour, non-fat, pre-packed, air tight container and sold it to believers that want to follow anything something tells them to. Unfortunately I became one of those people but I’m fighting hard not to be one of those. I’m fighting hard to show that it’s NOT the way it should be. You’re not supposed to be living like this. Not supposed to be working so hard to just cover your bills or being told what to do but the government. You’re NOT supposed to think a certain way or act in a particular order towards a different race. No. Your views count. You are equal. You are right. You love like everybody else and if you want to give it all up and live in some commune in the middle of no where the do it!
Don’t let people shout you down. Don’t become a person that fits into the background. Don’t let people take your soul or sell you respect to some buyer that wants to change your image or change the way you think. Stand up for what you think is right.
If you’re standing there and someone comes along and stands on your foot and you want to scream or you want to tell them to get off? Tell them to get off!! Don’t be too shy and don’t try to pull your foot from under theirs. Tell them how much it hurts and tell them that they should apologise. Have a voice.
There is a reason why Jim Morrison’s grave at the Pere Lachaise Cemetery is the only one, still now, with writings, cards, candles and gifts adorning his grave.

Hi.

It's been a while since my last update because I've been so busy getting things ready for my temporary move to Atlanta to start work with my new PR team and my band (auditions to be held in July) and I love to write blogs so here I am, once again. I love to vent out here. I guess being a writer is why and also because it acts as a creative outlet. It's good for song inspiration.

I had some sad news today that my Nan is ill with a "mass" in her stomach and I literally could not take it if Nan had "the C word" too. My Mum is beside herself with sadness as she has already lost her Dad and her husband. I can't see her lose her Mum to "C" too. It would be terrible.

I'm not saying my Nan is going to die from this but dying is a fact of life. It's going to happen to us all but for it to happen in such a traumatic way is a very hard thing to deal with. Especially when they are the heads of your family. It's worse watching it happen and seeing your parent watch their parent(s) die.

I had to watch my Dad pass away and let me tell you, that is way too traumatic to deal with. So much so, that you hide it away and then it comes back to bite you in the backside!!

It takes a while.. but to have it happen to another loved one whilst you are getting over another is something I do not want to happen. Something I do not want to see my Mum go through.

I think the songs that I've written recently are all soaked in the love for "another". The "can't live without" love. Realising it NOW when you're here, NOT when you've been given the bad news that you don't have much time left.

Life really IS too short.

I've written a song called, "I would give you it all" and it's a journey through the process of WANTING someone to love you the way you do then you coming to the point where you realise you are totally in love with them and that you would give them the world but you know that they don't love you the same way.

I think a lot of the feelings I felt when writing it were actually written with the anger I have from losing loved ones.

I haven't felt anything in my life more powerful than this. Ever.

But I often ask myself, "Not you too...?" Not you too Nan. The women that is like a Mother to me. Someone I've loved like a Mother. Someone who is so so important to my OWN Mum. I can't watch her go through this again.

Not you too....

You Are Worth Everything You Think You Are

INSPIRING is the life and soul of what I like to call “the place where we learn”.

Often people say, “Life isn’t a dress rehearsal”, but where do they get that statement from and why on earth do they say it?

How do they know, and if it isn’t then where are we transcending to?

Maybe life is a dress rehearsal? For us to learn, now. I’m not saying we have to completely mess this up but maybe it’s just being respectful, learning, living life with a full heart, to get hurt, to hurt others maybe, to get it wrong, to feel experiences that make you feel alive… to love… to share your life with someone else.

TO INSPIRE.

The thing about INSPIRING someone is that INSPIRING is a total and utter state of what I like to say, “real time consciousness”. To improve something or someone as soon as you feel it, or make them feel something they haven’t before. To give to others what you’ve learnt to help them along this path of, sometimes hard and gruelling times… to reach out and offer a helping hand.

The biggest thing for me about INSPIRING someone is to let them know it’s OK not to be INSPIRED BUT to INSPIRE someone else means you have it in your heart. Then they do too. It’s good to wonder things like, “What am I?”, “Who am I?”, “Why am I here?” You have to know you have it in you too.

INSPIRE Yourself. Think about it and search within your heart.

What do you really feel, deep down inside of your soul?

Think hard.

What do you see?

Let me tell you what I see? It’s something totally beautiful.

It’s an awareness that exists in people that are INSPIRED in life, not dead to this world. There is a big difference. There are “walking dead”, they give up on life and they give in to the “machine”. It’s also the way the government “thinks” we should be living. A whole pretence of this social and living nightmare we can live in. It also depends on how these people have lived and how they were treated but even after, lets say, years of abuse or bullying you can still have it inside you. You still DO have it inside you. INSPIRATION comes in many forms and life’s patterns are sometimes hard to understand but it always works itself out. From such dark times then comes INSPIRATION to live life, to write, to break out, to run away, to enjoy, to share something with someone you never had.

So… find it… that dark energy. Wherever it is and ball it up. Crunch it all into your fists and pull it from your heart. Pull it far away and throw it into space. Let the universe deal with all that sewage.

You were not born here to survive; you were born here to live. You are here to live in a state of total well being and knowing that you are worth everything you think you are, because you are.

You shouldn’t be working to live you should be living to work, or as I prefer it. Playing. I know it may sound strange and some people may be so removed from it that they find that difficult to understand, but there it is. Playing. Showing. Understanding. Enjoying. Yes we can have all these WITHOUT something attached to it like DOUBT. IT doesn’t have to come to an end. It’s continual and it gets better.

When you’re brought up you start to find excuses and you hear lies. You get tarnished to living and other people experiences rub off on you. Some come along and you fall in love with them and they leave and impression on you which may stay for a while. It may make you paranoid or insecure but whatever it is it never truly takes away your true meaning. Your inner self. Your soul, and your INSPIRATION.

So after all this life experience you may find yourself being apologetic or your confidence is low. Whatever it is, it’s the thing that stops you from achieving what you are truly here for. What you love to do. You might even find yourself feeling guilty to yourself? Sound familiar?

Well through all the experiences I have learnt the biggest was having faith in others as I was let down so many times. I started to lose faith in people but then certain people come along and they restore your faith in others.

What you have to trust, and what you might even have to learn, is that if you INSPIRE someone they will LOVE you for it. They will be INSPIRED back. The INSPIRATION will flow and things will happen. Amazing things. It might even start off with an idea or a thought. Don’t let society tell you it won’t work or that there is no point. If you believe it GO FOR IT! If you honestly feel like you can do it then DO IT!

After a few years of bad experiences I didn’t have much faith in people and I lost a few key people in my life, including my Father, but out of this came faith. Total and utter. I had to believe in myself. It was a form of survival. When I found myself and understood ME I could move onto letting someone else in my life. I then had to believe in someone else and they didn’t let me down.

When you do this your heart opens and you become trusting to the universe. You start to believe in this world again and the people in it.

See… it’s not just others that INSPIRE, achieve or have that “magical touch” it’s YOU too.

If you build faith in a friend or in someone who truly believes in you, it means your one step closer to finding true inner peace. The first step was finding yourself.

After a while you will come to a wonderful place of trust and you will be INSPIRING each other to live, learn, think, act, love… the list is infinite.

Without this INSPIRATION in my life I would not have achieved what I’ve set out to achieve and believe me, I wouldn’t have thought that I would have moved to America, launched my own album under my own label, got sponsors, endorsers and people who believe in me to invest their own savings and then going on to win 2 major music awards. This is but a few of the successes I’ve encountered along the way. I’m now happily writing for an animation project and auditioning for my new band to tour the album in the USA and UK, still under my independent label, INSPIRE U.

This life is here for us to realise what is inside of us. A perfect state of well-being. A knowing… to respect each other, to feel the total and utter magnificence of this incredible earth. We’re all brother and sisters and we’re all the same. There is no hierarchy, nobody person better than the other. It’s just experience and what that person was dealt with in life. So lend a helping hand. INSPIRE someone. We can achieve what we were put here for. Paradise. Our own paradise. Love. Friendship. With each other.

Come on INSPIRE everyone, you, me, us, them, And EVERYONE.

Listen to the music of life. Listen to the music we write here at INSPIRE U RECORDS. It’s special, it’s written from the soul. From experience.

Feel life. Feel the pain, the hurt, the laughing, the ecstasy, the wonder, and the awe, feel alive. Feel it all around.

HEY there :-)

Kris' BIG ONE this has ended! So.. drum roll please....... CONGRATS to Louise Newton on WINNING the custom-made t-shirt with "Your Eyes Will Be Grey" lyrics and logo design.

All entries were put into a hat, well my guitar case, and picked at random earlier today. Louise the t-shirt is on its way over to you :-) We're going to get a picture of her wearing it, OH YEAH!

This week is a very important week for me and my UK management team. The HONESTLY remix track and video come out FEBRUARY 23rd (Monday) That is the official release date. This FRIDAY 20th AYO and I will be appearing on BANG FM Radio (http://www.bangradio.fm) with Darnell from BIG BROTHER 5 to start promoting the new track and then on Sunday 22nd I am having a feature interview aired on HFM RADIO (http://www.harboroughfm.co.uk) with Dave Charles at 8pm, more detailed show schedule about interview to come this week. It's a very intimate and lengthy interview. The video of the radio interview will be up on You Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiOdMDuE8nA) this week :-)

Over the next 2 weeks I will be releasing some dates for our first UK release remix gigs. AYO and I will be performing the track at some selected clubs. The track will be available ONLY through our prospective sites... you will also be able to buy the video if you would like.

What a week.
I don't really know what I want to type but I know I need to.
Things have moved so fast in the last 2 years and the other night I found myself in a very hard place.

It's been 2 years since Dad passed away and things have changed so much I found myself missing him even more. My business team has evolved and widened and it now is something really out of my hands. That's kind of nice BUT at the same time I like to be in control of these things. I have been in control of my career for years and now others are taking it over. It's a wonderful feeling and a daunting one.

My family has changed and my Mum is moving on, she is looking happier and younger. She is dealing with it very well and I am very proud of her. I'm so happy she is happier.
I found myself getting angry. I'm not sure why but I will work it out (during that writing I figured it out) Well, I feel it's been too quick. Too short of a space.
This week is Valentine's Day and I really can't be bothered so I am going away to see a good friend. It's the first year I've ever been single.

I really don't like that. I'm on the right side of the fence (that's how I put it) the right side is where people LOVE to be in love, they love to be in a relationship. THe left don't. Well, they can be single and be happy and totally don't need it. I'm not saying I need it.. I'm just saying I prefer to be with someone.

I guess keeping busy makes everything fly by and I can deal with it but I am still in love. When I am in love I physically need to fight my way out of it to move on. I physically can't hack it. It's a wonderful thing and a terrible one. It means I can't accept it when/if the other person doesn't want it. Not in a psycho way. I mean within myself. It probably stems from my Mum and Dad's relationship. They were together since their teens and until he died. Totally inseparable. It killed me to see Mum suffer when Dad left us. So I look for that with someone else. I look for that total and utter unconditional love. The can't live without type, but in a healthy way. I think I've learned that.

I tried so hard, we all try when we love someone don't we?
I really hate that you made me hate that I loved you.

I'm not afraid of what the world has to show/give/frighten/shock/reward me with. I'm excited by all of it. After all, we learn from it and then take action by what we are given.

There are some great songs coming along I can tell you that.

On my album "slowly diabolical" MOVING ON is the song I wrote in this situation and then HONESTLY when I got over it. Have a listen. Buy it (itunes) If you do, I'll put you in my competition which ends after Valentine's Day and you could WIN a "Your Eyes Will Br Grey" custom made t-shirt.
